Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
The South African Weather Service says widespread rainy conditions can be expected from Tuesday.
This could lead to flash flooding.
Forecaster Kgoloselo Mahlangu says more than 50mm rain in a 24-hour period is expected in central and eastern North West, northern and north-eastern Free State, Gauteng and southern Mpumalanga.

"We can expect quite a bit of rainfall to come through. We have predicted a 80% of rainfall for Tuesday and is expected to be on and off throughout the day. This could lead to localised flooding. It's going to very wet day, people need to be careful."
"Indications are that some places may receive as much as 100mm in a 36-48 hour period. This would result in potential incidents of flooding," says Mahlangu.
