Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected in the eastern interior of Northern Cape.

Severe thunderstorms are expected in the south-western parts of Mpumalanga and extreme southern parts of Gauteng, as well as eastern and the north-eastern parts of Free State.


Gauteng: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon thundershowers.

Mpumalanga: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated thundershowers. It will be hot in the Lowveld.

Northern Cape: Fine and warm to hot but partly cloudy in the extreme north-east. It will be cool with morning fog patches along the coast.

Western Cape: Warm in places over the western interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cool but cloudy in the south with scattered showers and rain, but isolated in the north-eastern interior.

Eastern Cape: Partly cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain, but scattered along the coast where it will be cloudy. The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly to southerly.

KwaZulu-Natal: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the west. It will become cloudy along the coast. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly to south-westerly.
