The South African Weather Service has issued a warning of strong interior winds that are expected over the central interior of the Northern Cape on Wednesday and Thursday.

Mpumalanga: Cloudy in the east at first with morning fog and drizzle patches on the escarpment, recurring in the evening, otherwise partly cloudy and cold but cool to warm in the east.

Limpopo: Cloudy in the east at first with morning fog and drizzle patches on the escarpment, recurring in the evening, otherwise partly cloudy and cool but warm in the Lowveld and Western Bushveld.

Free State: Cloudy in the north-east at first with fog patches, otherwise partly cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers, except in the extreme north.

Northern Cape: Fine in the west, otherwise partly cloudy, windy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers in the northern and eastern parts from the afternoon. Morning frost is expected on the southern high ground where it will be cool.

KwaZulu-Natal: Morning fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers. The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly freshening later.
