Glam & Skinner: Supercool Gangnam Style

If you are not familiar with Gangnam style - where have you been the last couple of months?

Gangnam Style is a single by the South Korean pop artist PSY.

The song was released on July 15, 2012, as the lead single of his sixth studio album PSY 6 that debuted at number one on the Gaon Chart, the national record chart of South Korea.

As of November 15, 2012, the music video has been viewed over 730 million times on YouTube, making it the most watched video EVER.

 

And with this comes variations of the song.

The Martin Bester Drive's Kaptein Skuim covered the song, re-writing the lyrics into Afrikaans.

Afrikaans singer, Dirk van der Westhuizen saw a gap and used Gangnam style as inspiration for his new song "Supercool"

He told Glam'nSkinner: "I thought it would be pretty cool to bring an element of Gangnam style into he's this song, Supercool"
