[WATCH] Kolisi: I promise we’ll give it our best

Springbok captain Siya Kolisi has vowed to do everything is his power to ensure the country’s national rugby team return victorious.
“We know what you guys expect of us, and I can promise you that we’ll give our best,” said Kolisi as they departed to Japan for the Rugby World Cup.
A send-off ceremony was held for the Bokke at the OR Tambo International Airport on Friday.
The ninth leg of the international sports spectacle kicks-off on 20 September.
“We really appreciate it, your thoughts of us, keeping us in your hearts while we in Japan. It means a lot for us even though we can’t really say much back, but we do feel it,” said Kolisi.
Sports, Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa praised the Springboks for their efforts to build the nation beyond racial lines.
“The whole country is behind our boys, the Bokke but we also are saying to them at this hour we need them. We need them to win because each time they win they bring all of us together as South Africans.”
