President Donald Trump has come under fire by some of the world's most high-profile celebrities after his statements.
Trump's initial failure to explicitly condemn white supremacists for their role in the recent violent protest in Virginia has come under criticism, insisting that his condemnation included all such groups.
Trump faulted "many sides" for the violence. However, he made no mention of the far-right militia groups involved in the Charlottesville incident, where one woman died and 19 others were injured.
Many celebrities took to Twitter to share their thoughts and mostly their disgust.
