Daft Punk split after 28 years in the music business

Give it up – one more time – for Daft Punk!
They broke the news with an eight-minute video titled, 'Epilogue', from their 2006 film, 'Electroma'.
We all know a Daft Punk song and have bobbed our head to one of their hits.
They achieved popularity in the late 1990s as part of the French house movement.

Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo formed Daft Punk in Paris in 1993, which defined the French style of house music.
Their debut album, 1997's 'Homework', was a dance music landmark, featuring classic singles 'Around the World' and 'Da Funk'.
Daft Punk wore ornate helmets and gloves to assume robot personas at most public appearances and rarely granted interviews or appeared on television.
