K-pop band tops US album charts

K-pop is taking the US by storm and it seems South Africans are jumping onto the trend as well.

K-pop is a music genre originating in South Korea and has now become the most listened to song in the US.
BTS, a South Korean boy band has become the first K-pop artists to reach number one on the US album charts.
Known for their meticulously choreographed dance style and boyish good looks, the seven-member group is one of the country's best selling musical exports.

For the week ending on 24 May their new album came in at 135,000 album units, pushing it passed artist "Post Malone".
