Resilient three-legged cheetah overcomes all odds

Sasha
the cheetah is an inspiration to many after showcasing the strength to overcome
adversity.

Sasha was initially found by a farmer in 2011 and it appeared that his mother was killed leaving him to survive.

He was then taken to a vet at the LIONSROCK Big Cat Santuary where he was treated.
After being released into a private game reserve and learning to hunt, Sasha barely survived a wildebeest attack that shattered his left hind leg.

The only way to save him was to amputate the leg, and despite this injury, he found a way to keep on living a full life.
