Space might seem like a strange and far-away concept.

The International Space Station (ISS), satellites, and all other kinds of things are floating around out there.

And while you think these things are untouchable and distant, they might come crashing into your life at any point.

As Alejandro Otero can attest.

He recently shared a video on social media in which he managed to capture the sound of space debris falling through his house.

The space trash is said to have been dropped as part of a bigger batch that was released by the Japan ISS.

Otero shared a security camera video and a crashing sound can be heard:

Otero also shared pictures of the item that fell through his roof, the hole it created, and stated that it almost hit his child.

He has tried to reach out to the authorities about the damage that this item caused but has apparently not had any response.
