The Matric farewell is one of the most exciting and highly anticipated events of any high school student's educational career.

The entire event is meant to feel like a very special send-off before all the stress of the final exams takes over a student's life.

It is the closest some of us will get to a red carpet experience.

While the hair, dresses, suits, nails, and make-up are very important elements of the "perfect" night, the entrance is considered the most significant moment of the event for some students.

High schoolers will arrive in anything from lavish sports cars to limos, to whole motorcycle convoys and others will arrive in a hearse and coffin.

One Matric student in the Western Cape made a memorable entrance at his dance.

A fellow student attending the event managed to capture the moment on video and shared it on TikTok where many viewers have enjoyed watching the creative student make his big entrance.

In the video, the student is seen being lifted out of the back of an ambulance while on a stretcher:

The entrance was certainly creative and the student seemed to be impressed with it.

Some comments on the video were concerned about what would happen if an ambulance was needed by someone in a serious medical situation at that point.

We're sure that this ambulance was probably not on the emergency services schedule for that quick little detour.
