Rats are some of the most fascinating creatures on earth. Gareth Morgan, a philanthropist from Wellington, New Zealand, has come up with a unique initiative to get rid of the city’s rats. He’s offering university students a free beer for every rat they manage to catch.

This is an example of the kind of situation which will take place if you don’t control their population especially around urban areas.
In the 1983 American horror movie “Unknown Origins” starring Peter Weller was about some sort of rodent in the basement which starts to bother him and consumes his time. The main character than becomes obsessed with it and eventually starts losing his mind while trying to kill the creature, destroying most of his house in the process.

MalJan answered the call of two ladies from Lynwood Pretoria to save them from 3 terrorizing huge rats. MalJan first visited pest control expert, Kurt, from Kurt’s Pest Control to learn about the most humane way to catch and release the rats back in to the bush.
MalJan tried to first call them like a dog but proved to be unsuccessful. He then went on to play the flute for them just like the Pied Piper to see if the myth works – after playing Indiana Jones and Mary had a little lamb which also didn’t work.

In the midst of screaming ladies running away from the rats as they pass them, he ultimately caught the 3 rats after spending hours of trying to get them into his bucket.
