Andrea Diaz underwent a cochlear implant surgery and at her check-up, her mom and her boyfriend planned something beautiful for her first day of hearing!
A cochlear implant is a surgically implanted electronic device that can replace the function of a damaged inner ear.
It works by picking up and processing sounds, then delivering them directly to a person’s brain. Now, as you can imagine, she was absolutely elated to hear for the first time, but it was about to get even better!
