This mother was caught in a storm and shielded her baby from pelting hail after it smashed her car windows.
Fiona Simpson from Kingaroy, Queensland in Australia was in her car with her baby and grandmother, when she drove into a storm.
The hail started to get heavier and heavier, Simpson pulled over because it was too dangerous and then the storm blew out the back window of her car where my daughter was sitting in her car seat.

Fearing for her child's safety Simpson put her body on the line, she attempted to shield the baby as the huge ice rocks smashed through, but all three had to be admitted to hospital.
Simpson subsequently shared a picture of her injuries to Facebook, with the caption "I've learnt my lesson, never drive in a hail storm."
