Oregon man gets engaged to box of wine

Michael James Schneider has taken things to the next level with his loyal "boyfriend", Franz.

In February 2018, after a period of wallowing over a failed relationship, Michael James Schneider decided it was time to move on. He went on to build another, more fulfilling relationship - with box wine.

Michael took the boxes of wine that he had finished while he cried over his past boyfriend and literally built himself a new partner. Michael named his new beau Franz, after one of his favourite box wines: "Franz is great. He’s better than a regular boyfriend because he’s the strong, silent type, but also sweet and caring at the same time." And now, Franz and Michael are engaged.
