Wildlife expert Shandor Larenty shares his passion for animals with the Scenic Drive

Shandor Larenty is a 24-year-old wildlife expert who is passionate about animals joined Rian van Heerden and the team to talk more about his day-to-day work. 

Larenty lived overseas for a few years as a kid and then came back to South Africa.

"I hug lions and we have a bond - I call them my fur family but people must always remember that it will stay a wild animal." 

"Doing what I do is not a job it’s a lifestyle and something you really have to do dedicate your entire life to." 

"Animals don’t have a clock so this is definitely not a 9-to-5 job where when the clock strikes five and I can be like hey I’m going home."
