Do you think it is tough to crack proudly South African words?
Updated | By Lee-Roy Wright
We may think that South African accents and words are easy to ace, but that's not the case for everyone...
South Africa is filled with many words that only South Africans know and understand. With eleven official languages, there's a lot to play around with.
In a hilarious YouTube video posted by YouTuber Josh Pieters, he managed to grab a few of his British friends and let them try saying a few proudly South African words.
With over 750,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel, Josh is one hilariously funny guy. He makes high-quality challenge videos, skits, and of course hilarious pranks which he plays on his friends and the public. In this video, he got two of his British friends to try speak, pronounce, and explain the meaning of the particular South African words.
As the phrases are asked via video, you will see quite a few SA celebs make an appearance, from Jeannie D to Goodluck. Even Gareth Cliff makes an appearance. With words like “Braai Broodjies” and “Dagga”, we couldnt help but giggle.
