SPONSORING: Rennies and Avis donated R15 000,00 to Sophie to enable her to buy an industrial quality sewing machine as well as fabric and other sewing necessities, to ensure that her dressmaking business grows even bigger in the new year.
BACKGROUND: Sophie Mchabi is a dress maker. Her dresses are not like any other. She designs the fabric - with patterns and bright colours and then she cuts and sews every stitch by hand. Her talent was spotted by someone in her community, who wrote to Good Morning Angels asking for help to buy Sophie a sewing machine. She works with her mom, who has a machine, but Sophie can do so much more if she had the help of a proper machine. Sometimes, a little help and encouragement, can be an investment in a career that keeps growing and beautifying.
We cannot wait to see what designs Sophie will now create with her new machine. Go Sophie!
