#Rally4Rhinos - how to get involved
Updated | By Bronwyn Hardick
Why you should be getting involved:
1. In total, there are less than 30,000 rhinos left in the entire world
2. It is estimated that a rhino is poached every 8 hours. At this rate, rhinos could become extinct in 15 years
3. Black, white and Sumatran rhinos have two horns; Javan and greater one-horned rhinos have one horn
4. Black rhinos can reach speeds of up to 40 miles per hour (64 kilometers per hour)
Poachers target rhinos for their horns, which are prized in countries like Vietnam and China, where they are believed to have medicinal value. However, their horns are no different than human fingernails.
Get involved today and write #StopKillingRhinos on your hand. Then tweet it, share it on Facebook, and let the world know that we #Rally4Rhinos!
