Tumi Morake dishes on the 'Our Perfect Wedding' drama
Comedian, Tumi Morake joined us in studio this morning and shared some of her insight into her weight loss, the scandal's surrounding her former TV show, 'Our Perfect Wedding'.
It goes without saying that Tumi Morake is one funny lady. Not only does she deliver those much needed laughs, but she is also a person who is very down to earth, realistic.
She joined us on the show this morning and shared some of her stories, her take on the drama unfolding with her past TV show 'Our Perfect Wedding'. If you did not know but the show has recently been accused of 'romanticizing rape culture' and taken to the BCCSA.
Immediately after the episode aired, there was a reaction on social media that was pure outrage. Lots of questions were raised as to why the production team behind 'Our Perfect Wedding' approved the episode and allowed the episode to air, especially since it's during the '16 days of activism against women and child abuse' annual campaign.
