A video of a Cape chameleon giving birth has gone viral

The video shows a Cape
dwarf chameleon giving birth to 18 baby chameleons.
The
footage was shared on the Fynbos People Facebook group on Friday 10 November.
It has been shared nearly 1000 times.

The video was first posted by the pet owner, Aldo Kleyn, in August.
Kleyn wrote in his post: "My female pet Cape dwarf chameleon that's been with me for seven years now... giving live berth to 26 little babies after I've rescued her from the Knysna fire storm."
