The Killers unveil new Christmas tune, and it's awesome!
Updated | By Mike Savage
It has become a tradition for The Killers since 2006 to record a Christmas song and release it around December and of course it is always for a great cause!
The Las Vegas group record a new charity track every year to benefit the RED campaign, which helps the fight against HIV/AIDs in Africa.
The Killers 2014 track titled: "Joel, The Lump of Coal" features collaborative efforts from US funny man and talk show host Jimmy Kimmel and it proudly follows in the footsteps of such Killers' Christmas classics as The Cowboys' Christmas Ball, Don't Shoot Me Santa and A Great Big Sled.
Jimmy Kimmel plays the role of the irritating psuedo-producer, but eventually guest stars as the voice of Santa on the track, following in the footsteps of Elton John and Neil Tennant of the Pet Shop Boys, who have also appeared on previous Christmas tracks from the Las Vegas group.
