We are all about that work life, but some might say the only thing they look forward to about their work life is early retirement.

But that cannot be said of people who are passionate about what they do. This breed of people is happy to work for as long as they possibly can and are happy to push the boundaries when it comes to the idea of retirement.

One such example is Carmen Dell'Orefice, known as the world's oldest working model.

Discovered at the tender age of 13, she is said to be working in the fashion industry today at the ripe age of 92, but you would never say.

Her first attempt in the world of fashion was an epic flop but she was destined for more. Just two years after her fashion fail, at the age of 15, she appeared on the cover of Vogue.

"Last year, at age 92, Carmen Dell’Orefice was featured on the cover of Vogue Czechoslovakia, this time as the oldest working model in the world." (Oddity Central)

Dell'Orefice had a tough childhood with her family struggling financially.

"Her modeling work was hardly enough to support the family so she and her mother also worked as seamstresses to make ends meet." (Oddity Central)

It seems her tough life didn't end there. When she married Bill Miles in the early 1950s, he exploited her career by picking up her modelling agency cheques, allowing her just $50 from her earnings.

She was interviewed saying, "Men and women should care for themselves and love themselves. One of the secrets to maintaining beauty is doing what you do for a baby, nurturing and feeding the baby with love. That’s what we should do with ourselves: nurture ourselves, love ourselves, and give that kind of energy to ourselves." We couldn't have said it any better...
