There's not much that a parent won't do to keep their kids safe and sound.

Weirdly enough, most of the time you will find parents act instinctively when it comes to keeping their kids safe.

And you don't realise how precise you can be with your efforts until the time has passed and you have already reacted to saving your child from an accident that could've been worse.

A video we came across recently shows a parent in action and it was incredibly smooth.

It shows parents playing with their baby girl who seems to be finding her feet as she learns how to walk. The moment is precious, to say the least, but after the first tumble, dad acts instinctively and throws a pillow where he believes the little girl is going to fall.

According to Fatherly.com, a father's reflexes are more than just a moment of adrenaline or sheer luck. "They're an adrenaline-driven response from the sympathetic nervous system."

The website post went on to say that as mammals, we have fight-or-flight reflexes and contrary to popular belief, even moms have dad reflexes.

“There are certain changes in decision-making centers of your brain that tend to amplify your ability to ignore pain,” says New York-based surgeon Christopher Hollingsworth, M.D., describing dad reflexes. “They tend to override any kind of logical concerns that you have and allow you to function very quickly without thinking of anything else.” (Fatherly.com)
