Fancy having steak as the crust to your pizza?

Experimenting with food is something we love to do. It shows open-mindedness, plus, how will you know if you like something if you don't try new things right?

But this trend is somewhat, um, against the laws of meat-eating.

Or maybe not?

As much as South Africans are known for their love of meat, this is taking it to a new level.

If you are going to enjoy a piece of meat, then it should be authentic and complemented with some sides, such as potato salad, or perhaps a chakalaka... don't you think? 

Perhaps it's not fair to pass judgement without first trying it out; at least many South Africans sounded excited about the idea.

One person sounded surprised that many people hadn't heard of the concept before, calling it 'meatza', which is an actual thing, and quite popular for those on low-carb diets. 

But with the price of meat, perhaps this should be a once-off affair.
