A Mexican influencer that rose to fame after participating in 'Big Brother Mexico' has caused some contention online.

"Poncho de Nigris, sparked controversy after claiming that he is considering selling two embryos he and his wife saved in case they ever wanted to have more children." (Oddity Central)

Doesn't sound that controversial, does it? Well, wait for the crux.

"The Mexican celebrity said that because the quality of the embryos is ‘guaranteed’ and they would be helping ‘improve the human race’, it wouldn’t be fair to just give them away." (Oddity Central)

He allegedly plans to sell the embryos to interested couples for $2-million each.

He believes that they will get many interested buyers considering they have a great gene pool, which is visible with his current four offspring.

"De Nigris clarified that both embryos are girls and are of the highest quality, as genetic studies were carried out to guarantee the product." (Oddity Central)

He went on to say that even if no one successfully purchased the embryos, they could remain frozen indefinitely and could be used in his life insurance policy, in the event of his passing.
