There are many things that South Africans can laugh through, even if it is a touchy or sensitive topic.

One of the most recent things that has Mzansi laughing out loud is the registered names of some South Africans.

Some names were chosen by parents as English names, while others are names that were botched by Home Affairs during the birth certificate registration.

We cannot lay blame because, with handwritten forms that are submitted, it could be that someone captured the information incorrectly because the writing was not legible.

But that's a story for another day.

However, it is good to mention that if you wanted to, you could change your name at Home Affairs too.

Three women who participated in the trend of a man whose name is 'Kilometre' shared their registered names on TikTok.

The first woman, whose parents named her 'Relax', said that this is her only name and professed that parents can be cruel.

As for this woman, she said that during her birth registration, there was a mistake and she is registered as 'Belleve', as opposed to 'Believe'.

And last but certainly not least, there is a woman who was named 'Letters'. She admitted that she is teased to this day about her name.
