NZ marketing agency produces crazy firing video for views
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
The things people do to hype up the views on their TikToks are crazy...
There is always going to be someone pushing the boundaries when it comes to creating a saucy video that will dominate the TikTok playground.
But what's the limit? How far is too far? And who is to judge if it is fair at all?
Although these are all valid questions, TikTok is nothing like the Twittersphere, there isn't necessarily a mob coming for you for taking it too far.
So, we have to just rein in what we think is appropriate and what we think isn't.
We're all about a good media stunt, after all, it's like that old saying, all media is good media.
But sometimes, even though we form part of the industry, it can be confusing to decipher when brands are being genuine and when it is all staged.
We guess that goes for all content posted online. Are you at all honest when posting, or has everything become a smoke screen for what people think consumers want?
But as a way of staying true to our sanity, we think this brand maybe, just maybe took it a tad bit far.
New Zealand social media marketing agency, The Attention Seeker, posted a video showing their social media specialist and her boss having a serious meeting.
She is in charge of TikToks and was concerned that after losing thousands of followers, she was going to be fired.
But after the stressful meeting, in which she acted inappropriately, we find out that it was all a big act. A means to get views.
