WATCH: Horrific moment unattended baby tumbles down escalator
This is exactly why you should never let a baby out of your sight.
A nine-month-old baby fell down an escalator after walking away from its parents in a mall. The child had been left on its own in a walker at the entrance of a nearby restaurant.
A passerby noticed the baby on the escalator and jumped from the downward escalator to the upward one to rescue the little one. The nine-month-old baby, whose gender has not been revealed, plummeted from the top of the escalator which was going upwards.

According to Beijing Daily, the accident took place at a shopping centre in Wuxi, eastern China, at around noon on Friday. The baby's savior is a 22-year-old soldier who happened to be home for the holidays.
It’s reported that the baby did not suffer any serious injuries.
