Delivery company accepts kid's currency for Mother's Day

DoorDash accepted things like seashells, marbles and random items from kids this year as a form of currency...in exchange for a bouquet of flowers.

We came across the cutest promotion by DoorDash, the American food delivery company.
The company acknowledged a vital part of Mother's Day. Realistically, young children who do not have money are generally supported by dad (and sometimes mom) when buying gifts for mom.

DoorDash hosted an online Flower Auction, which centred around things that only kids would use as a form of payment.
In other words, kids' version of money. This could be anything from seashells to leaves or crayons. They referred to this form of money as 'kid currency'.
To “bid” for a promotion code that could be used to purchase mum a complimentary bouquet of flowers, "Parents would need to post a photo or video of blocks, googly eyes, earthworms, doll shoes, beads, or really anything little ones want to offer on Instagram, TikTok or Twitter and tag @DoorDash with the hashtags #KidCurrency and #Sweepstakes." It definitely got us excited about how this brand got kids excited about giving back to mum in a small and unique way.
