Something to always remember when you think you are not leading from the front and centre...

We all could do with a reminder of our value and what we contribute.

Whether that comes in the form of being a good team player or a good work colleague, we all have something special in life. Sometimes life can get blurry and we forget to see our value.

But one young man who forms part of the Settlers High School Dynamix Jazz Band in Cape Town reminded us what it means to be unique.

Usually, the big role to get in a music band is the lead singer, but not everyone can be the lead.

This young man, who is responsible for shaking the maracas in his band, grabbed everyone's attention during their performance on the 'Expresso Show'.

He reminded everyone that no matter how small your role is perceived to be, you can make the best of it and shine like the star that you are.
