Sadly, in South Africa, it is a dream come true just to have a roof over your head, so to have a brick and mortar home, is definitely a welcome blessing.

One woman displayed how she worked hard to make her RDP house her forever home. 

She posted a time lapse video on her TikTok page showing how she saved up and renovated her home. 

The transformation is wonderfully fulfilling; not just for her, but for many TikTokers.

For the most part, many people commended her accomplishment. 

But, of course, there were people who tried to tell her how she should have done it. 

And it was quite pleasant to see how people stood up for the woman.
