10 things you need to know about Jacaranda Day

Jacaranda Day weekend is here! Take a look at this list of 10 things you need to know about this lekker event.
1. The line-up (in order of appearance) is: Bok van Blerk, BlackByrd, Die Tuindwergies, Monark, Riana Nel, Steve Hofmeyr and Theuns Jordaan.
2. The concert is at SuperSport Park in Centurion. Gates open at 11.30am and the concert will continue into the early evening.
3. Tickets are available from Plankton at R120 for Adults & R50 for kids U/12 or persons O/60. The secure Kids Zone will also ensure that there is entertainment for the little ones.
4. Gautrain rides will be available to and from Centurion Station for people wishing to use the service.
5. You are welcome to bring along your own picnic baskets and blankets.
6. If the idea of preparing your own food is a hassle there will also be food vendors at the venue. We’ve sourced a wide range of service providers to cater for all tastes whether it is burgers, curries, frozen yoghurt or anything in between that.
7. No beverages will be allowed into the venue – whether alcoholic or non-alcoholic. These will be on sale.
8. No hard liquor, glass/sharp objects, gazebos/umbrellas, animals and/or firearms will be allowed in the venue.
9. It’s going to be a cool day, so please DO bring: hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, jersey and put on your favourite pair of dancing shoes.
