Jacaranda FM helps give light to the community of Plastic View
After the tragic events of Plastic View, Jacaranda FM with Consol Glass is helping give light back to the community.
Tragic shack fires erupted in the Plastic View informal settlement in Pretoria at the beginning of July.
The blaze, believed to have been started by an unattended candle, claimed the lives of five people and left 1 500 families with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
Jacaranda FM, in association with Consol Glass and the Moreleta NG Kerk, is assisting the community of Plastic View whose homes were destoyed.
Our team is handing out Consol Solar Jars to assist with light and to hopefully help minimise the risk of fires in the future.
