When too much of a good thing is bad: learn about overhydration

With a plethora of literature ubiquitously available on the importance of drinking water, the dangers of going overboard with it are often overlooked. Here's more on overhydration ahead of the Discovery Jacaranda FM Spring Walk 2016 #StepIntoSpring
Metro.co.uk reports that hyponatremia – or water intoxication – happens when the body takes on more water than it can sweat or pee out, causing blood sodium levels to drop to dangerous levels.
While severe cases are extremely rare, it’s relatively easy for you to develop the condition if you do lots of intensive exercise:
