Blade Nzimande: Guptarisation of state must end
Updated | By Samkelo Maseko
The General Secretary of the South African Communist Party, Blade Nzimande has called on South Africans to stop the rot and abuse of state organs.

Speaking on a day where the Sunday papers carried stories of renewed political battles in the ANC, Nzimande said the Hawks are being used to settle political scores.
"We have to defend our country. We are going to stand up as the SACP, but we will have to go deeper into who is behind this," Nzimande said.
Nzimande says, as a black South Africans, the fact that Gupta family is allowed a free reign feels like a violation. He says people who do business the way the Gupta family does, cannot be an alternative to white monopoly capital.

"We have illustrious families in South Africa who have no culture of entitlement. The Mandela families, the Kathrada's, the Sisulu's....so why does this family have a culture of entitlement?" Nzimande said.
He added that he was offended, as a South African, that a family was allowed to land their aeroplane at the Waterkloof Airforce Base.
"We must stop beating around the bush on this matter," Nzimande said.
The SACP also welcomed the release of the state of capture report with Nzimande saying he fears that the judicial commission of inquiry will turn them against one another.
"We want to thanks the ANC though, in its response to Thuli Madonsela's report. The ANC said that this judicial commission of inquiry sit, so that we can get to the bottom of this," Nzimande said.
He also urged supporters not to allow this report turn South Africans against each other.
