Brace yourself for extreme weather

Heavy rain, disruptive snow and gale force winds as well as unusually cold temperatures have been forecast for parts of South Africa this week.
The SA Weather Service has warned of an unseasonal cold snap that will hit on Tuesday - seeing us through to Thursday.
Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected in Gauteng, Limpopo and Mpumalanga on Tuesday afternoon.

Weather forecaster Venetia Phakula says Limpopo, KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape will be the most affected by the extreme weather conditions.
She also warns of localised flooding in KZN.
"Disruptive snow can be expected over the Winterburg area, the southern Drakensberg, the Eastern Cape and over the southwestern high grounds of KwaZulu-Natal," Phakula adds.
