Coligny woman speaks out after being escorted away from EFF march
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
The woman who was escorted away from protesting EFF members by police in Coligny, says she will not keep quiet.
Tash Botha wanted to address the protesters at the local police station.
The incident was filmed by JacarandaFM News.
Botha says everyone is equal in Coligny and the unrest in the small North West town was caused by the media coverage.
"I think everybody wants the same thing. Everybody wants peace. Everybody wants to live in harmony. The government is so corrupt. The government is feeding the people the wrong information, making them angry, destroying everything and then they are angry with the government, because they don't give them what they want," says Botha.
Botha says farm murders don't get the same attention.
EFF members demand the NPA speed up the appeal against the ruling in the local Magistrates Court, to grant bail to two farmers accused of killing a teenage boy.
