Eastern Cape accounts for most active Covid-19 cases
The latest statistics released by Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize show that the Eastern Cape has the most active Covid-19 cases in the country.
Currently, the province has 7961 active coronavirus cases.
Gauteng still accounts for the most cases with a total of 30.6% infections.

On Wednesday, South Africa recorded an increase of 2 888 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections to 757 144.
A further 123 Covid-19 related deaths have been recorded, with the national total of related fatalities rising to 28 703.
