Gordhan: South Africa needs more people like Jacques Pauw
Updated | By Laila Majiet & Gerda de Sousa
Former finance minister Pravin Gordhan insists the truth will prevail.
Gordhan attended the Pretoria book launch of the explosive 'The President's Keepers' at Exclusive Books in Brooklyn Mall.
Gordhan, who admits he has not read the book due to being consumed by the Eskom inquiry in Parliament, says South Africa needs more people like Jacques Pauw.
He encouraged people to read the book and connect the dots.
The axed minister says while he cannot attest to the veracity of the contents of the book, he says: "The truth will prevail."
#PresidentsKeepers standing ovation for #PravinGordhan "I haven't read the whole book because I've been been busy with the Eskom Inquiry and maybe that is what the next book can be all about"

Scores of people stood in line to get Gordhan to sign their book - much to the amusement of Twitter.
Those who crediting Jacques Pauw as author of #ThePresidentsKeepers must also credit his co-author Gordhan who we see signing autograph of same book. President Zuma must be hailed for exposing WMC friends within ANC and SA. Salute Msholozi.

Pravin Gordhan is definitely getting a portion from #ThePresidentsKeepers. Knowing the capitalist in him he couldn't just sign the books.

Why is Pravin Gordhan signing books he didn't write? Is it because he was one of the major sources? #ThePresidentsKeepers
