Government officials to attend funeral of Bronkhorstspruit driver

A delegation from the Gauteng provincial government will attend the funeral of the driver of the minibus involved in last week's deadly crash in Bronkhorstspruit.
The Gauteng MEC for Education Panyaza Lesufi, as well as the MEC for Community Safety in Mpumalanga Pat Ngomane, will be among the officials paying their respects.
The horrific crash between a minibus taxi and a truck on the R25 near Bronkhorstspruit left 20 people dead, including 18 learners.
There are also two memorial services planned for next week.

The first memorial service, for the victims of the crash, will be led by the school and will take place at Sokhulumi Village next Wednesday. This will be followed by a public memorial service at the Verena Open Ground on the 4th of May.
