LIVE: EFF delays Zuma's question time in Parliament
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
President Jacob Zuma is in Parliament to answer questions.
However, proceedings have been delayed as the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) raise several points of order.
The president is expected to answer questions on topics including the awarding of state contracts, Operation Phakisa, and government progress in combatting gender-based violence among others.
The red berets are back in the National Assembly after their previous boycotts.
The opposition party had refused to participate in question and answer sessions as they are adamant they do not recognise Zuma as head of state.
Following nearly an hour delay, Speaker Baleka Mbete is asking members from the EFF benches to leave the House.
