Miners missing after seismic event
Five miners are unaccounted for at a Carletonville mine in Gauteng.
Harmony Gold says it follows seismic activity at its Kusasalethu mine on Friday morning.
A search and rescue operation is currently underway.
Harmony Gold Investor Relations manager Lauren Fourie says rescue teams have been working at the scene since shortly after 10:00 when the seismic activity was recorded.
"Seismic activity took place. We are busy with search rescue activities," Fourie says.
