Pregnant woman set alight in Krugersdorp
Police spokesperson Mathapelo Peters says the taxi driver apparently failed to stop after he ran over a pedestrian.
"The victim and his friends went after the taxi driver. His friends fled when the taxi driver was joined by other accomplices, leaving behind the woman and the man.

"It is also alleged the pregnant woman was raped before being set alight," says Peters.
The woman (34) and man (38) later succumbed to their injuries.

The men will be charged with double murder, rape, as well as reckless and negligent driving.
