Search for missing baby continues across KZN
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
It's been 24-hours since one-month-old Siwaphiwe Mbambo was abducted following a hijacking in the Durban CBD, but despite ongoing search and rescue efforts across the province, there are still no signs of the missing baby.

Teams of police, medics, security personnel and concerned citizens embarked on a search for the child in the Montclair area, south of Durban this morning.
This is where the white Toyata Yaris - which Siwaphiwe was in - was found abandoned yesterday afternoon.
A search in a bushy area just off Donovan Road in Montclair turned up nothing last night.
The area was searched immediately after the car was found, but several search and rescue teams - including the uMlazi, Pietermaritzburg, and Empangeni K9 units - returned there today for another thorough check.
Officials on the scene also confirmed that three houses in the area were searched.
There are currently six active searches underway across Durban to find the child.
Meanwhile, a reward of R250 000 is now being offered to anyone with information leading to the whereabouts of baby Siwaphiwe, and her abductors.
