Senzo Meyiwa's family hope justice will be served

The family of slain former Bafana Bafana footballer Senzo Meyiwa says they are elated that a breakthrough has been made in the murder case.

Police Minister Bheki Cele on Monday confirmed that five people have been arrested in connection with the 2014 killing.
The Umlazi-born Bafana Bafana goalkeeper was shot dead exactly six years ago at a home in Vosloorus, on the East Rand.
The suspects were arrested in KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng on Monday morning.
Police have also confirmed the gun used in the crime has been found. They believe they have a watertight case.
Meyiwa's brother Siyabonga says they are looking forward to finally seeing justice.
"It gave us a lot of joy because such a day we would gave commemorated it. Today marks a different day. There is hope now."
He says his father Sam, who died in July last year, would have been a happy man.
"Today is a victory, but it feels hollow because he is nowhere to hear what happened. He died with his heart very sore because there was no movement."
