South Africans can beat corruption by working together: Radebe
Updated | By Maryke Vermaak
Minister in the Presidency, Jeff Radebe says we can beat corruption if we work together as South Africans.
He was speaking in Pretoria at the commemoration of International Anti-Corruption Day.
Radebe leads the inter-ministerial committee on anti-corruption and says corruption is still happening, despite much progress made.
"We should not allow corruption to eat up at the fabric of South African society. The cost is just too high on all of us to be left unchecked. We cannot afford to look away. Anyone who has information about crime or suspicious criminal activity has an individual responsibility to properly report such incidents to the respective law enforcement agencies," he said.
