Author Jacques Pauw's lawyer, Willem de Klerk, says the letter was sent to the book's editor Russel Martin.

De Klerk says: "We received a second letter from the SSA's attorney. It was essentially the same content as the original letter."

The explosive book has caused much controversy since its release.

'The President's Keepers' details the alleged tax evasion of President Jacob Zuma.
