Suspects sought for casino robbery

Police have launched a manhunt for a group of at least ten suspects following a robbery at Emerald Casino in Vanderbijlpark Park yesterday.
One person died and two others were injured in the robbery.
Police spokesperson Mavela Masondo said patrons and staff where held up by the armed men.
"One of the suspects was shot dead, while two guards were left injured during the shootout," said Masondo.
He said the suspects managed to flee with a substantial amount of money.
"The suspects made away with several vehicles and three of the vehicles were later found abandoned."

Gauteng police commissioner Deliwe de Lange has also expressed concern over the robbery.
"The Lieutenant-General has appointed a team of detectives to make sure the gang of suspects is brought to book," said Masondo.
