Ten NW awaiting-trial prisoners make daring escape

Police in North West have launched a manhunt for ten awaiting-trial prisoners who escaped on Friday.
The group escaped from the Mogwase police station holding cells through the roof after cutting the mesh wire.
The ten escapees are Johannes Mogari Nowata, Katlego Nkitle, Omphemetse Moeng, Joseph Molefe, Tebogo Michael Langeni, Obvious Mlambo, Lebogang Mokotleng, Adonis Mpofu, Eric Mkhonazi and Tshiamo Mogale.
Police spokesperson Sabata Mokgwabone warned members of the public not to approach the men as they are considered dangerous.
"The detainees, aged between 18 and 56, facing several charges such as house robbery, possession of suspected stolen goods, robbery aggravating, murder, attempted rape to burglary.
“Internal investigations regarding the incident have also been instituted."
